Can Carbonate Harm Prenatal Development?

Prenatal exposure to an insecticide containing carbonate is associated with poorer motor development in children by 2 years of age. The fetus is particularly susceptible and vulnerable. Mothers must be very careful to avoid all chemicals, as much as possible, just before and during the time the fetus is developing.
